DESCRIPTION

On March 21, 2019, Google published a Doodle dedicated to Bach, encouraging users to compose a melody in two measures of their own imagination. With the push of a button, the BAch Doodle then uses machine learning to harmonize the melody in Johann Sebastian Bach's musical style.

Francesco Fusaro chose a key for each of the four people who make up 19'40", and wrote some melodies for each of them. He then transferred the MIDI files to Ableton, recomposed them and chose those sounds of the popular composition software that most reminded him of the personalities that make up 19'40". The result is 4 small musical miniatures that pay homage to Bach's style, as well as other compositions from the 19'40 "catalogue.

As for the format, he chose a miniature CD, the perfect format for such short compositions (each piece runs for just 1 minute).
