La favola della realtà
DESCRIPTION
The project was commissioned by ALMARE as part of "Sound Quests", and was presented live at the Circolo del Design in Turin on November 26, 2021.
Drawing from the tradition of 1950s and 1960s Italian radio dramas, as well as children tales on tape the two authors grew up with, La favola della realtà invites us to reflect on what a "world" is, and how stable our idea of "reality" really is. Following the narrative development of a fairy tale, Federico Campagna's voice leads us through a metaphysical reflection commented on by the original music by Francesco Fusaro.
For philosophy buffs and curios alike, La favola della realtà thus becomes an opportunity to rethink, thanks to Campagna's delivery, our position as protagonists in a world that—as the cover by Marina Benetti points out—seems to dematerialize just when we thought it felt pretty solid under our own feet.
