The second instalment in our project dedicated to experimental music for children brings together nine new commissions by artists from across the Italian experimental scene, including Valeria Sturba, Alessandro Fiori, DJ Balli and Enrico Gabrielli, each responding to the same narrative framework: the transformation of a caterpillar into a butterfly. Together with Vol. 1 and the book Puntino by Annalisa Limonta, the release explores how contemporary music can engage younger listeners without reducing its complexity.
